Recently, Devon Energy Corporation presented HALO-Flight, Inc. with a check for $10,000 to help support the non-profit air ambulance’s operations.

This donation will be applied to the annual expense of maintaining and operating HALO-Flight’s 3 Bell 407 helicopters. These costs make up a large portion of its three million dollar plus annual operating budget.

“We appreciate Devon’s commitment to our organization over the last several years,” said Tom Klassen, Executive Director of HALO-Flight. “Their continued support helps keep our aircraft in the air and supports our mission of saving lives throughout South Texas.”

“Devon employees and our neighbors live and work in south Texas—primarily in remote areas. When an emergency happens, it’s important that emergency responders be able to reach people in need, and HALO-Flight is there to provide that critical help,” said Perry Lawrence, production superintendent for Devon Energy’s south Texas operations. “Devon Energy is proud to be a long-time supporter of HALO-Flight.”
