Mary Lou Trevino, 75, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, September 24, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Robstown, Texas on October 13, 1936 to Crisanto and Leonides Arambides Vela. She was a cook employed with Robstown ISD for 15 years until reaching her retirement. She loved spending time with her family especially watching her grandchildren play baseball and softball reminiscing upon her early years of playing womenísí fast pitch softball in the late 1960ís. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She goes home to reunite with her parents, one son, Jerry Lee Garza, one daughter, Diana Garza, three brothers, Hesmerejildo Vela, Gregorio Vela, Frank Vela; and one sister, Margarita Garcia who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Pedro F. Trevino Jr. of Robstown, Texas; five children, Pedro F. (Sandra) Trevino III of Corpus Christi, Texas, Delia (Omar) Sepulveda, Norma Trevino, Victoria (Ernesto) Pesina, and Oscar (Maribel) Trevino all of Robstown, Texas. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends who loved her deeply.

A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at St. Anthonyís Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
