On Sunday, a number of students filled The Bridge Church in Robstown, as they were honored for being on the A Honor Roll.

We would like to congratulate all of the students who work hard, but especially our all A Honor Roll students! Great job, Noel Trevino said.

Every student received a gift bag and All A Honor Roll students received an award certificate. The grand prize winner of a new laptop computer was fourth grader, Paulina Garza, of Magee Elementary.

The Bridge Church members also thanked Robstown ISD School Board candidate Jesse Rojas for being in attendance and for his contribution towards the prize.

It was good to see your genuine interest in our students, Trevino said.

The Bridge Church will be honoring All A Honor Roll students every six weeks and will be selecting a winner of a prize such as laptop computers, iPads, or PS3s.

We want to encourage all our students to work hard for their goals. We also want to let you know that we are cheering for you, our students, Trevino said. Students with all As for the entire school year will get to attend an end of the year pizza party and have a chance to win the Grand Prize (undetermined). Grade levels eligible are from first grade to 12.
