October 12

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Moore Ave for a report of burglary. When officers arrived they spoke with the tenant that stated she had left home for the day and when she returned her house had been broken into. Three TV’s and a laptop were taken from the home. There are no suspects at this time.

October 13

Robstown Police officers were called to the 400 block of E Ave B for a general burglary alarm. When officers arrived they saw a male running down the road. The officer called out to the man to “stop” and “come here” in which the man did. The officers asked the man what he was doing in the area and he stated he was in a fight two days prior and had passed out in front of the business. He was just waking up when the officers seen him running. The man was looked over to see if he had any injuries. The male had a small laceration on his torso. He was placed in the patrol unit while officers investigate the building. The front door to the business had been smashed. The officers entered the building. Upon entry the officers found a small piece of brick possibly used to break the front doors. The cash register had been moved from the counter where it was. After making contact with the business owner the officers took the suspect back to the station for questioning where he implicated himself in the burglary. He was arrested and later transported to the Nueces County Jail.
