ROBSTOWN - Darlene Vivian Edwards, 82 went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She was born on May 19, 1930 in Robstown, Texas to Antone and Vlasta Barcak Mrazek. She was a Catholic and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Her strong faith in the Lord made her even more special. Even though her health made the recent years a struggle, she never complained right up to the end. Darlene was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She goes home to the Lord to reunite with her parents, her son, Randy Edwards; her daughter, Candy Edwards and a brother, Vernon Mrazek.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Aubrey “Sandy” Edwards of Robstown, Texas; one grandson, James Edwards of Calallen; a granddaughter, Stacey Hunter of Georgia; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Addison White. She will also be missed by numerous other relatives and friends.

The Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 3 p.m.- 9 p.m. at Robstown Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial will follow to Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas. The Family would like to thank the crew at Trisun River Ridge for taking such good care of her.
