Robstown Police Officers were dispatched to the station for a report of a scam. Officers made contact with the reporting party that stated she had received a phone call stating she won a lump sum of money, but before she could receive her money she needed to send money to Panama. The lady complied and sent three different amounts of money to Panama and Costa Rica. The lady tried to call back the original phone number and that number is now disconnected. She was told she would receive another call in the next coming week. Police believe this to be a scam. No other information to report at this time.
