David “Jay” Blanco, 56, was taken home by Jesus Christ and his band of angels on June 24, 2013. David was born on August 24, 1956 to Oscar Blanco and Maria Vasquez in Robstown, Texas. He was a very loving and caring brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He goes home to reunite with his parents who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his nine brothers and sisters, Elsa (George) Castillo of Corpus Christi, Elma (Arturo) Trevino of Robstown, Oscar Blanco, Jr. of Dallas, Rolando Blanco of Robstown, Hector Vasquez of Bishop, Elva Blanco, Ramiro Blanco both of Corpus Christi, Adan Blanco and Carlos Blanco both of Robstown; seven nieces and nephews, Leticia Perez, Ricardo Trevino, Aida Trevino, Sandra Vasquez, Hector Vasquez, Robert Vasquez, and Oscar Blanco, III. He was also blessed with many other relatives and friends who loved him unconditionally.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Maria Perez for your constant love and care given to our brother during his time of need.
A Rosary will be recited at 9am on Monday, July 8, 2013 with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment will follow at the Old St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
