Sandra (Sandi) Heflin Snapka died peacefully with her family by her side July 3, 2013, in a local hospital after a short courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 20, 1956, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Patty and Chester Heflin. Her work experience included employment with Haggarís slacks and Ram Security at the International Airport. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Camp Lejeune on Paris Island, North Carolina. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, bowling, crocheting, gaming, cooking, and playing with her cats and kittens.

Sandi was preceded in death by her father, Chester Heflin; her brother, Ronnie Heflin; her father- and mother-in-law, Louis and Edith Snapka, and her sister-in-law, DiAnne Snapka Neslony.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Snapka; her mother, Patty Heflin; her brothers, Rick and Charlie Heflin; her daughter, Kathy Diane Scott (Steven Barber); her son, Kaine Snapka (Lawren), and her granddaughters, Reyna Scott and Madison Barber.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Sandiís name.

The family will be receiving friends at 12pm on Saturday, July 13, 2013 with a Memorial Service to follow at 1pm at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas.
