Corpus Christi skaters now have a place to go in Flour Bluff.

A new skate park, located at Wranosky Park at 422 Graham Road, held a grand-opening, ribbon cutting Friday evening.

Representatives from the Friends of Wranosky Park Skate Park and the Flour Bluff Business Association, who championed the project, joined City officials to celebrate the new skate park, according to a press release.

The new facility was designed and built by Grindline Skate Park using input from local stakeholders including youth skaters. The project was funded through the Parks & Recreation Departmentís Community Enrichment Fund and with generous donations from Highland Property Development, the Flour Bluff Lions Club and Str8Sk8 Skate Shop, the release stated.
