Gilberto Del Toro, 59, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was born on March 23, 1954 to Santiago and Maria Rangel Del Toro in Robstown, Texas. Gilbert was a farmer and a life long resident of Robstown. He was a very loving and caring husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He goes home to reunite with his parents and one brother, Osvaldo R. Salazar who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Terri Del Toro of Robstown; his three children, Mario Alberto Zamora, Melissa Garcia both of Robstown, Erica Del Toro of California; two sisters, Elva R. Del Toro and Veronica Del Toro both of Robstown. He was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews, Natalia Guzman, Alisha Guzman, Dominic Guzman, Nathaniel Guzman, Delilah Martinez, Rosa Marines, Osvaldo Salazar, Jr., Alejandro Salazar, Taylor Tranthem, Austin Tranthem, Madison Tranthem, Jalon Tranthem, and one great nephew, Josiah Rizzo Sanchez, as well as, many other relatives and friends who loved him unconditionally.
A Rosary was recited at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. Interment followed at Robstown Cemetery.
