As a looming storm approached, Tuloso-Midway confidently demolished West Oso during the first half of Friday night's game. Unfortunately for the Bears, the game was called before the second half.
Tuloso-Midway saw action in the first-quarter after junior Matthew Dickson scored. West Oso tried clawing their way back, but only scored a single touchdown in the first half.
It was during a scoring spree kicked off by Dickson in the second-quarter when the Warriors showed their real power, ending the first half with a 21-point lead at 28-7.
Then the weather took a turn for the worse.
As lightning began striking overhead, officials called for a 30-minute delay due to the inclement weather, at which time the players returned to their locker rooms and spectators took refuge beneath the stands.
But in the end, the game was called and will not be rescheduled.
