Corpus Christi Police took a 15-year-old boy into custody Monday morning for his involvement in stealing from vehicles in the parking lot of an apartment complex.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a complaint of several males in hoodies going in a group to several vehicles and attempting to make entry. One Corpus Christi Police Officer arrived in the apartment complex parking lot and the group ran over a fence into another apartment complex. A second Corpus Christi Police Officer was in the apartment complex the suspects ran in to and detained five males.

The Officers discovered one 15-year-old boy with stolen property. Four of the suspects were adults (age 17 or more) and released but the 15-year-old boy was taken in to custody and delivered to the city detention center for burglary of a vehicle.
