A Corpus Christi Police Officer arrested a man and a woman for possession what the officer believes is methamphetamine after a traffic stop on the 900 block of Flour Bluff Drive Wednesday morning.
A Corpus Christi Police Officer conducted a traffic stop when he saw a white 2000 Lincoln pass through an intersection without stopping for the stop sign. The Officer discovered the 34-year-old driver, Marty Forehand (10/30/1978) was driving with an invalid license.
The Officer then arrested Forehand for Driving While License Suspended and arrested the 25-year-old passenger, Crystal Stevens (10/10/1988) for Possession of Marijuana.
The vehicle was impounded and Forehand and Stevens were taken to a separate location to a transport unit which would deliver the two prisoners to the city detention center.
The Officer discovered a package of a white crystal substance the Officer believes is methamphetamine in the back seat of the patrol car once Forehand and Stevens were removed from the vehicle. The Officer checked the in-car video system and saw the two prisoners attempt to conceal the substance.
Forehand and Stevens were additionally charged for the Possession of a Controlled Substance.
