On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, Robert Driscoll Elementary in Robstown held their annual Science Fair in the school library. Students who participated entered various types of science projects that followed the Scientific Method.

In Kindergarten, Sofia De Luna received 1st place, Kendra Warmath received 2nd, and Mario Cortinas received 3rd place.

In first grade, Mallie Villarreal was honored with 1st place, Brandon Zamora received 2nd place, Joey Saenz received 3rd place, and Jaiden Gutierrez placed 4th.

In second grade, Arielle Garza received 1st place, Homero Villarreal placed 2nd, Analie Villarreal received 3rd place, and Amelynne Olguin received 4th place.

In third grade, Jozannah Rodriguez placed first, Lorena Lemus placed second, Jordan Lopez received third place, and Aliyah Orobo was honored with fourth place.

In fourth grade, Terik Hickmon received 1st place, Caleb Morales received 2nd place, Sergio Sandoval received 3rd place, and Bryan Suarez & Meagan Morales tied for 4th place.

Medals were given to students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places. The 1st and 2nd Grade winners in each grade will compete with area schools at the Coastal Bend Science Fair which will be held at the American Bank Center in February.
