Cirilda “Cira” Lopez, 81, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 22, 2013 after a long illness. Cira was born July 09, 1932 in Robstown, Texas to Martin and Filomena Sartuche Rodriguez and resided in Robstown, Texas all of her life.

Cira was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother always watching and caring for her family. She was a devout catholic, a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas and a former member of the Sociedad Cuauhtemoc. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Angel Bright Hospice for the unconditional love and care given to Cirilda as the Lord prepared to call her home.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband, Andres H. Lopez, her children Juanita Gonzalez, Maria Cardenas (The Late Andres Cardenas) Andres (Julie) Lopez, Jr., Ancencion (Irma) Lopez, Carmen (Willie) Nieto, Sofia (Daniel) Cruz, Reyes (Mary Ann) Lopez, Victoria Lopez, Olga Lopez, Lydia (Eusebio) Trevino; brothers, Martin (Dominga) Rodriguez and Juan (Janette) Rodriguez; sister, Maria Rodriguez. She was blessed with 27 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family will be receiving family and friends from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Ramon Funeral Home in Robstown, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Andres Lopez, Jr., Ancencion Lopez, Reyes Lopez, Willie Nieto, Daniel Cruz, Sr., Eusebio Trevino, III., and Javier Lopez.
