Moises “Moy” Saucedo, 76, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 01, 1937 in Robstown, Texas to Andres G. and Martina Garibay Saucedo.
Moises, worked for Asarco for 17 years, Robstown ISD for 17 years, and at St. David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas for 3 years. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, and the National Guard for 6 years. Moises was baptized and was a member of Bet-El Christian Church, where he served the Lord as a deacon and was a life long resident of Robstown, Texas. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
The family would like to thank Mary Silva Rojas and Norma Borchard. Also, to the Dream Foundation and Odessey Hospice, Nurse Karen Martin, and Celeste, CNA, Rosie F., Bertha Y., Michelle and the rest of the staff for their unconditional care given to Moises as the Lord prepared to call him home.
He goes home to reunite with his father, Andres Saucedo, brother, Andres Saucedo, II., daughter, Lillian Denise Saucedo, paternal grandparents, Rev. Teodoro and Dolores Guzman Saucedo; maternal grandparents, Gabino and Isabel Palomo Garibay.
The family he leaves behind to cherish his loving memory is his wife of 48 years, Adela F. Saucedo of Robstown, Texas. One son, Reverand Joel M. (Xiomara) Saucedo of Pearisburg, VA; His mother, Martina G. Saucedo, of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Benita (Rev. Gontran) Lopez of San Antonio, Texas and Leticia (Douglas) Schram of Austin, Texas.
He was also blessed with two grandchildren, Joel Andres and Noel Isaac Saucedo, nephew, Corey Schram and two nieces, Mirella P. Lopez, Gabriele Schram and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and extended church family.
An evening service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 03, 2013 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 1pm on Wednesday, December 04, 2013 at Ramon Funeral Home in Robstown, Texas. Burial with military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
