A 21-year-old man made a shoplifting complaint to the Corpus Christi Police Department at a store located at 6101 Saratoga Boulevard Monday evening.

The 21-year-old man told Officers he is a loss prevention employee of the store and he saw an unknown man load a television valued at about $1,000 dollars into a cart and then had a child push the cart out of the store into the parking lot.

The 21-year-old man told Officers he confronted the man and the child about the theft which prompted the man and the child to get into a white Ford Expedition and leave the television behind.

The 21-year-old man provided the license plate number of the Expedition to Officers. Officers searched the area and located the Expedition unoccupied and then the Officers impounded the Expedition.
