The 79th Nueces County Junior Livestock Show parade was held on Saturday morning, bringing a plethora of excited participants and onlookers into downtown Robstown.
Robstown and Bluntzer Police and Fire Departments began the parade in a sea of sirens. What followed were numerous floats, decorated vehicles, men and women on horseback, and groups from several area FFA and 4-H clubs forming a long procession that moved down Main St., raising the excitement for this week's Livestock Show. Last year's NCJLS Queen, Makenzie Wright waved to the parade crowd, followed by this year's Queen contestants, all smiles merely hours before their big night.
The energy of excitement lingered in the air long after the procession had passed, kicking off momentum for the rest of week with a bang!
