The City of Corpus Christi is asking residents to get involved and contribute their suggestions, ideas and solutions to the community wide issue of litter. In the coming weeks, City staff will present options for addressing litter in four key areas including ordinance revisions, enforcement, education and measurement.
Prior to presenting options to the City Council residents are being asked to contribute their suggestions, ideas and solutions regarding litter. The City will hold a community litter forum on Wednesday, Jan.22, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall (1201 Leopard Street). The forum will be televised on the city municipal television channel (Cable Channel 20, Digital Channels: Time Warner 10.20, Grande 120.20, and AT&T Uverse 99) and streamed via internet at www.cctexas.com.
City staff will give a brief opening presentation at the forum with background about litter in our community and the remainder of the program will be devoted to listening to anyone who brings ideas and solutions for consideration.
Those residents who cannot attend the forum can still send their suggestions, ideas and solutions until Thursday, January 23, 2014 by either method below:
