The dead body of man that was found at the base of the Harbor Bridge on Saturday, Feb. 22, has been identified as Sean Yates, whom had been missing since leaving the Corpus Christi State Living Center in late January.

The body of Yates was found after a passerby alerted police that the body was floating in the water. With the assistance of the Port Authority, Yates' body was pulled out of the water.

With no identification found on him and the with the condition of the body, which Medical Examiners said looked to have been in the water for at least several days, officers stated that it would be difficult to identify the body.

An autopsy of Yates was conducted to determine a cause of death.
