The City of Robstown, along with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Rural Development, will host a groundbreaking ceremony of the new City Hall building at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Mar. 21.
The ceremony will feature distinguished guests such as United States Congressman Blake Farenthold, Congressional District 27; USDA Rural Development Area Director, Roel Gomez; City of Robstown Mayor, Rodrigo Ramon, Jr.; City of Robstown Utility Systems Chairman, Lupe Ramirez; USDA Rural Development Assistant Area Director, Lisa Kelley.
The USDA-Rural Development provided a loan in the amount of $5,650,000 to facilitate the new City Hall project.
The new City Hall building is located at 101 E. Main St., Robstown.
