Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate a man who stole $50,000 dollars worth of jewelry from a store located on South Padre Island Drive near Greenwood.

On Sunday, Mar. 30 at just after 7 a.m., Corpus Christi Police responded to a theft complaint at a store which had a security safe left unlocked and a man went behind the counter, took the jewelry from the safe and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

The man is described as a 15-19 year old male with medium brown skin, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 160 pounds, and wore a black hoodie and blue jeans. Detectives believe a woman was also involved in the theft and describe her as a 15-19 year old female about 5 feet 2 inches tall, with medium brown skin, brown hair and wore a black t-shirt, gray pants, black shoes and had a tan purse.
