For Del Mar College students living in Calallen and northwestern portion of the College’s service area, getting to class this summer doesn't have to be a major commute. The DMC Northwest Center offers credit courses that count toward program curriculum as well as Continuing Education courses that build on individuals’ skills or focus on specific careers.

Currently, registration is underway for summer credit and Continuing Education courses offered at the Northwest Center.

The first summer session for credit courses begins Tuesday, May 27 (closed May 26 for Memorial Day). Courses range from algebra and government classes to public speaking and sociology. Access registration information at www.delmar.edu/registration.

Continuing Education courses include Microsoft Word and Excel, Food Services Manager, Nurse Aid, CPR/First Aid and other courses associated with the Nurse Aid program. Courses begin on different dates in June, July and August. Access registration information, which is different from the credit course process, at www.delmar.edu/ce.
