The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting registration for its Summer 2014 High School Volleyball League. This is a team concept varsity league for high school girls in grades 9-12. Teams are minimum six players, maximum 10 players.

Players must still have a year of high school eligibility to participate in this league. The season will run from June 9 through the week of July 10, 2014.

Registration will be offered Monday – Friday until May 23, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at City Hall, 3rd floor, Parks & Recreation Department (1201 Leopard St.); $25.00 per player; late registration will be offered May 27 – 29, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at City Hall, 3rd floor, Parks & Recreation Department; $30.00 per player.

Participants will obtain a full understanding and importance of the rules and the concept of teamwork. While this program provides structure and knowledge of the sport of volleyball, it also promotes positive attitudes and the importance of adapting a lifestyle with recreational activities.
