Early voting for the May 27 Primary runoff election is now underway.

Several state races will be present on the Nueces County Ballot, but a few races will also be determined locally.

In the Democratic primary runoff, Martha Huerta Quintanilla and Melissa Madrigal will go head to head in the race for County Court at Law #5.

In the Republican primary runoff, voters will decide between Brent Chesney and Joe McComb for whom will win in the race for County Commissioner Precinct 4.

Early voting will run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Friday, May 23 at various Early Voting substations throughout the county, including the Nueces County Courthouse at 901 Leopard St in Corpus Christi; Hilltop Community Center at 11425 Leopard St in Annaville; Johnny S. Calderon County Building at 710 E Main St in Robstown.
