More allegations of inappropriate conduct have been placed against former pastor of St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Parish in Annaville.

According to reports, a man from Gregory walked into the Gregory Police Department last Thursday and told police that approximately 25-30 years ago, when Monsignor Michael Heras was a priest at the Immaculate Conception Church in Gregory, sexual contact was made by Heras to the alleged victim.

Reports state that the alleged victim's statement was taken as a report of a possible offense rather than a criminal complaint, due to the many changes to the statute of limitations by the State.

As of Tuesday, the case has been turned over to the San Patricio County District Attorney.

Previous allegations of inappropriate conduct against Heras, reported on June 28, prompted the Diocese of Corpus Christi to place Heras on leave. He later resigned.
