On Monday at 9:14 P.M. officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Bray on reports of a shooting incident. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 30 year old male inside the home that had been shot twice, once in the leg and once in the torso.

The victim was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. The time of death was reported at approximately 9:45 P.M.

Officers were advised that the victim was the ex-boyfriend of the suspects daughter and had come to the residence where a scuffle ensued with the father of the girl. It was during that scuffle that the shooting took place.

At this time suspect, Daniel Salazar has been booked into the City Detention Center for Murder. Salazar was detained and questioned by detectives about the shooting and it was during that process that he was placed under arrest at approximately 2:04 A.M. and charged with murder.
