The weekend is almost upon us for those who live in Corpus Christi and the Surrounding areas and that begs the question, what is going on this weekend. For those of you looking for something to do with the weekend there are some events that are sure to be fun for all.
The Harbor Playhouse will be holding a performance of Little Shop of Horrors this weekend and is pen to teens, tweens, and adults. The show will run all weekend and through the rest of the month. The show begins at 7:30 P.M. but for more info and exact times residents are encouraged to contact the playhouse at 361-888-7469.
The 11 annual South Texas Amateur Photo Contest will be held at the Art Center of Corpus Christi and works will be on display from Oct. 22 through Nov. 22. The opening reception will be on Oct. 30 at 5 P.M.
Closing out the Month of October is the Fright Night Haunted House that will be opened from Oct. 24 through oct. 26. The haunted house opens at 7 P.M. and is located at 615 Mesquite St in Corpus Christi. This year the event will be featuring an all new Haunted Hotel that is set to leave patrons terrified.
Concrete Street Amphitheater will be hosting a Ride-In-Theater event similar to the drive in days of old. The feature film will be Hocus Pocus which is fitting for the season. Drive in packages are available to go along with this free movie event at the cost of 20$.
Going into the Month of November American Bank Center will be hosting music events for fans of different genres. On Nov. 1 Slipknot will be performing at the venue at 7 P.M. with special guests Korn. VIP packages are available through ticketmaster.
Also in November we will be seeing Cher return to Corpus Christi on her D2K tour. Special guests for this event will include Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. Tickets are currently on sale and platinum seating is still available.
