The student groups and organizations of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi preformed musical skits before a packed house at the 15th annual "Islander Review." The creative array of musical skits were part of an extravaganza held on Oct. 24 at the Performing Arts Center.

The student talent show was one of numerous events held during a parents weekend that is held every year. The students showcased their talent in hopes of winning one of 6 prizes at the evenings festivities.

the student organizations that competed this year included: Zeta Tau Alpha, Alpha Gamma Delta, Gamma Phi Delta, Delta Delta Delta, and Kappa Sigma. The show also included a performance by the Islander Dance and Cheer teams as well as Islander Improv.

This years winners were:

1st Place: Delta Delta Delta - received $1,000

2nd Place: Zeta Tau Alpha - received $500

3rd Place: Kappa Sigma- received $250

4th Place: Alpha Gamma Delta- received $100

5th Place: Gamma Phi Beta received $75

Peoples Choice Award: Zeta Tau Alpha

Islander Revue, presented by the Universitys Student Foundation Association, is sponsored by Whataburger. Proceeds from the annual event fund student scholarships.
