Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has been ranked among the top 25 colleges for Most Affordable Four-Year Online Programs in Texas by OnlineColleges.net.
Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, which came in at No. 17, was one of 25 colleges selected as a best-value college and university offering online degrees to students in the state of Texas. Students can either earn a bachelor’s or a master’s degree from each school through a fully-online or blended coursework delivery format.
“One of our top priorities at the Island University is to provide an affordable education for our students,” said University President Flavius Killebrew. “We’re highly committed to maintaining a high standard of academic excellence so that all students will have the opportunity to reach their academic goals.”
Online offerings include programs in business, nursing, education and science. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, which is recognized as a Hispanic Serving Institution by the U.S. Department of Education, is also among the Top 50 “Low Cost Colleges with High Starting Salaries for Graduates” by Affordable Colleges Online, and has been ranked among the Top 50 Colleges for Hispanic Students by BestColleges.com.
According to OnlineColleges.net, the annual in-state tuition for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is $7,656. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, which had 11,256 students enrolled in fall 2014, offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
In addition, Affordable Colleges Online has ranked Texas A&M-Corpus Christi No. 19 in the state for return on investment and 21st in the state for offering affordable and quality online courses and degrees. This includes the University’s Master of Science in Nursing program, which is ranked among the Top 10 for Best Online Education Programs by U.S. & World Report.
