Charles Krauthammer, New York Times Best-Selling Author and Fox News Contributor, is coming to speak at the CHRISTUS Spohn Health System Foundation’s 2015 Lyceum.
Proceeds from this March 31 event will help CHRISTUS Spohn and physician partners make meaningful enhancements to CHRISTUS Spohn’s vital Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency Programs. Features, such as a state-of-the-art simulation lab and comprehensive learning resource center, will help attract physicians to train and remain in the Coastal Bend. This is part of CHRISTUS Spohn’s plan to transform health care to strengthen the health and wellbeing of our entire community.
“Attendees get to enjoy a high-caliber speaker they might not otherwise see, while supporting the health system’s legacy of hope and healing for future generations,” said Karen Bonner, Vice President of Philanthropy at CHRISTUS Spohn. “The support goes back to them in the end, as we invest Lyceum funds in advanced technology and training that allow us to deliver the best health care possible for our community.”
The 27th Annual event is being chaired by –Jen Vogt, 2015 Lyceum Chair.
“We are committed to creating exceptional healthcare—right here at home,” said Vogt. “We are blessed to have CHRISTUS Spohn in South Texas and I hope people will join us on March 31st to enjoy one of the best fundraising events in South Texas featuring what is sure to be a very dynamic speaker”
