Forty young professionals will be recognized by Corpus Christi Under 40 during the CCU40 Mayor’s Breakfast on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7:30 A.M. at the Solomon P. Ortiz International Center, 402 Harbor Drive. Corpus Christi Mayor Nelda Martinez will speak to honorees and hand out awards.
Eight employees of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will be recognized. They are: Claudia Ayala, Assistant Director at the University Counseling Center; Beth Wilson Becerra, Public Affairs Manager; Jill Jacobs, Executive Director of Development; Dr. Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer, Assistant Professor of Communication; Bridget Markwood, an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Communication and Media Arts Department and CEO of Leader N U; Dr. Mark Olson, Synthetic Organic Chemist and Assistant Professor of Chemistry; Anthony Reisinger, a Ph.D. Student and Graduate Research Assistant at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies and Vice President of Youga Yoga; and Dr. Rita Sperry, Professional Assistant Professor.
The CCU40 breakfast will honor the accomplishments of men and women under 40 years of age who have made significant contributions in their professional fields as well as through service in the community.
