The Nueces County Community Services, under the direction of Edward Herrera, held the 27 Annual Valentine Queen Coronation and dance on Wednesday, February 11 at the Robstown Community Center. With approximately 150 guests in attendance the Valentines Queen Coronation was underway.

Marcy Santos, Assistant Director of Community Services opened the program with Greetings to everyone in attendance. The Master of Ceremonies, County Attorney, Laura Jimenez introduced each of the five Queens and their Naval Junior Reserved Officer Training Cadet escorts from Robstown High School under the direction of Edward F. Roeder.

The Grand March included: Queen Hilda Ramirez of Agua Dulce escorted by Chief Petty Officer 3rd Class, Robert Reyna, Queen Frances Navarro of Banquete escorted by Seaman Brittney Bosquez, Queen Olga Cuellar of Bishop escorted by Seaman Dimitrio Herrera, Queen Dora Garza of Driscoll escorted by Chief Petty Officer Christian Arredondo and Queen Aracelli Flores of Robstown escorted by Seaman isaias Padilla. Crown Guard for the event was Seaman Aimee Bueno.

Commissioner Joe A. Gonzalez, Pct 2, had the honor or crowning the 2015 Valentine Queens. Refreshments followed with a dance featuring Los Rayos.

Elaine Bockholt, Activity Coordinator would like to extend a special thanks to Edward F.
