San Juan Gonzalez, Sr., 64, entered eternity on February 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 7, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Natividad and Maria De La Luz Garza Gonzalez and resided in Robstown, Texas most of his life. San Juan was a devout catholic with a great devotion to San Fidencio and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. He will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched.

He goes home to reunite with his parents and a sister, Gloria Garza whom preceded him in death.

The family he leaves behind to cherish his loving memory is his wife of 39 years, Lydia Costilla Gonzalez of Robstown, Texas; his children, San Juan (Martha Blew) Gonzalez of Robstown, Texas; Maria (Michael Lee Puentes) Gonzalez of Mathis, Texas; Tomas (Michelle) Gonzalez of California, and Ray Gonzalez of Robstown, Texas. His is also survived by his siblings, Susie Chadden, Hector Gonzalez, Natividad Gonzalez, Jr., Joe Gonzalez, Vicky Salinas, Jesse Gonzalez, Paul Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez, Edward Gonzalez, Mary Sanchez, Rachel Arismendez, and Tony Gonzalez. He was blessed with five grandchildren, one great-grandson, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
