Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to 2002 Yorktown in reference to a missing child. Officers contacted the adult relative of the child who stated that she got up at approximately 4:30 A.M. to check something in the kitchen.

When she checked on the children that were staying with her she noticed that 6 year old Kloe Donohoo was gone. She then discovered that the suspect 19 year old Austin Carlin and her van were also gone.

At approximately 11:20 A.M. Kloe Donohoo was located safe and sound. A DPS Trooper was on I-10 near Ozona Texas and observed the vehicle.

He stopped the vehicle and took the suspect into custody without incident. Corpus Christi Police Detectives are on the way to scene to interview the suspect and facilitate the reunion of Kloe and her parents.

The Corpus Christi Police Department would like to thank all those who assisted in the recover of Kloe.

The suspect 19-year-old Austin Carlin has been booked into the city detention center and faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

At this time police do believe that the girl was sexually assaulted and more charges may follow as the investigation continues.
