CORPUS CHRISTI – One of the nation’s most storied high school baseball rivalries will be renewed at Whataburger Field on Friday, April 10, when No. 3-ranked Calallen faces Moody in a District 30-5A game.

First pitch is 7 p.m., and ballpark gates open an hour earlier.

Reserved-seat tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 8, at 9 a.m. at Whataburger Field. To place a phone order, call 361-561-HOOK (4665). Ticket pricing is $5 for adults, $3 for students, and children three-and-under are admitted free.

Moody is the home team and will occupy the third-base dugout.

The Trojans and Wildcats have drawn over 41,000 for two three-game Whataburger Field playoff series – 2007 second-round action and the 2009 Region IV 4A finals. The programs have combined for 24 state tournament appearances and five state championships.
