TAMUCC PRESENTS ASSASSINS
The TAMU-CC Department of Theatre and Dance will present ASSASSINS, by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, in the Warren Theatre at 7:30pm Tuesday, April 21 - Saturday, April 25 and on Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 pm. The Tony-winning musical lays bare the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or tried to assassinate the President of the United States, in a one-act historical "revusical" that explores the dark side of the American experience. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, writers Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman bend the rules of time and space, taking audiences on a nightmarish roller coaster ride in which assassins and would-be assassins from different historical periods meet, interact, and inspire each other to harrowing acts in the name of the American Dream. Tickets are $12 for adults, $7.50 for non-TAMUCC students and $5.00 for TAMUCC students with SandDollar I.D. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door the night of the show or at the box office in the CA, first floor, 12-2pm, Monday, April 20, through Friday, March 24, 2015.
