Frank T. Sandoval, 99, went to be with our Eternal Father on Sunday, May 31, 2015. He was born on March 18, 1916 in Gonzalez, Texas to Frank and Tomasa Trevino Sandoval, Sr. He proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II and worked for the Robstown Post office as a postal carrier for 37 years. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
He goes home to reunite with his wife of 49 years, Maria Lou Sandoval who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his children, Gilda (Guillermo) Soria, Yvette Huerta, Yvonne Sandoval, Cynthia (Hossein) Sooudipour, and Cecilia Sandoval; his sister, Lilly S. Flores; his sisters-in-law, Rebecca (the late Oscar) Gonzalez, Minnie (the late Charlie) Sandoval, Pura (the late Tommy) Sandoval; his brother-in-law, Leonard (the late Hermilia) Gutierrez. He will also be missed by his eight grandchildren, J.R. Huerta, Veronica (Dave) Berardelli, M. Gabriel Sooudipour, Mark Huerta, Kimberlee (Jason) Solis, Richard (Julee) Huerta, Andrew (Toni) Soria, Daniel Soria, three great-grandchildren, Katherine and Elizabeth Murtagh-Huerta, Ava Solis and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at St. Johnís Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
