Sarita, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector seized 7.65 pounds of cocaine on Tuesday.
A white 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with one occupant approached the primary inspection lane at the Sarita Border Patrol Checkpoint. During the inspection a K9 alerted to the vehicle, which led to the discovery of six bundles of cocaine concealed in the vehicle’s battery. The individual was placed under arrest and the narcotics was seized.
