TULOSO-MIDWAY — Nathan Freitag couldn’t have asked for a better way to cap off his high school baseball career at Tuloso-Midway High School.

The 2015 T-M graduate was one of a handful of area players named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association all-state teams.

Freitag was named to the Class 5A Second Team as a catcher. Earlier this year, Freitag signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at Wharton County Junior College next season. He was an all-district selection in District 30-5A this season and was a member of the Corpus Christi Hooks 2015 South Texas Preseason Large School All-Star Team.

The Calallen Wildcats had two players on the all-state team. Josh Baltierra was selected as a First Team All-State second baseman and pitcher Dylan Duarte earned Second Team All-State honors.

The Robstown Cotton Pickers had a pair of all-state selections. Jesse Garcia was named Second Team All-State as as second baseman and Ryan Garza was Second Team All-State as an outfielder.
