Agua Dulce Elementary Principal Wayne Kelly was recently selected to serve a second term as the Region Two President-Elect for the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association.

At the association's Leadership Conference in July, officers from the 20 TEPSA regions across the state were installed, including Kelly.

According to a press release, Kelly has been an educator for 15 years. Under his leadership, Agua Dulce Independent School District was awarded three Gold Stars of Distinction in Math, Reading and Student Improvement in 2013 and 2014.

"Regional officers are committed to building membership, leadership capacity and supporting TEPSA members at the local level. They play a critical role in TEPSA's Success," Executive Director Harley Eckhart said.

With the hallmark of "educational leaders learning with and from other," TEPSA has served Texas school leaders since 1917. Member owned and member governed, TEPSA has more than 5,800 members who direct the activities of three million Pre-K through eight grade school children.
