Everyday, Robstown Police Department makes efforts to protect their community. However they also find the time to serve Robstown and the surrounding area through community outreach.


Officer S. Villarreal spent part of Friday, March 4 at the Hattie Martin Early Childhood Center encouraging the young students to lear to read. She participated in the reading celebration Dr. Seuss Parade.


Officer John Garcia made the short drive to Banquete on Friday, March 11 to teach high school students about the dangers of cell phone use while driving whether it is talking on the phone or texting. He also taught students about the dangers of sexting and the risks associated with this activity.


Community members also served the Robstown Police Department and showed their appreciation. The members of Boys and Girls Club of Robstown took it upon themselves to treat officers to some snacks as a way to thank them for the job they do protecting residents and keeping the city safe.
