On March 24, 2016 Our Lord called one of his Angels home. Robert Santos, or as he would love to be called “Gator Boots”, was born on January 20, 1958 in Robstown, Texas to Pedro and Virginia Santos. He was called home at the very young age of 58. He was one of the toughest men you ever came across, truly living life to the fullest was his devout motto. He worked very hard when needed and played wildly when he wanted. He worked as a foreman for Rusty’s Oil Field Service for years and worked in the oil field all his life. He was a wonderful and caring man to all of his family with a contagious smile and great sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Virginia Santos and brother, Jubal Santos.
Roberto is survived by his sons, Robert Santos Jr. of Alice, Texas and Randy (Rachel) Santos of Alice, Texas; brothers and sisters, Oralia (Raul) Arredondo of San Diego, Texas, Pedro (Rosie) Santos Jr. of Victoria, Texas, Leonel (Enderia) Santos of Banquete, Texas, Hilda (Roel) Gonzalez of Alice, Texas, Noe (Roxanne “Roxy”) Santos of Alice, Texas and ET (Elizabeth) Santos of Albany, Oregon; sister-in-law, Norma Santos of Alice, Texas.
