Robstown, Texas - For anyone who may have photographs, objects, or documents that can help tell their story or the story of Robstown. Citizens are encouraged to bring them to the Robstown Area Historical Museum’s Community History Day!

For over fifteen years the museum has collected items from Robstownʼs past, and are eager to expand their collection to include personal histories that, collectively, make up Robstown’s history.

The Robstown Area Historical Museum invites all community members to contribute to the Museum’s growing local archives. Together these archives will allow for a more comprehensive account of the rich histories and broaden the types of collections and stories about the Robstown area than presently exist.

At the event please bring 2-3 unframed hard copy photographs or 2-3 digital images on a flash drive or cell phone. Volunteers will scan and/or download photos and help record memories. Attendees will get everything back before they leave.

The event will be held on Saturday July 9, 2016 from 9:30am-3:30pm at the Nueces County Keach Family Library. The event is free and open to the public.

For those who do not have photographs, stop by and record a 2-3 minute personal memory from your history in Robstown.
