The Corpus Christi Professional Firefighters Association is inviting everyone to join them for the 2016 C.A.R.E. (Cancer Awareness and Relief Efforts) Campaign.
Since 2009, more than $375,000 has been donated locally for this fund. The American Cancer Society, First Friday, Driscoll Children's Hospital, Triumph Over Kid Cancer and other charitable foundations have benefited, as well as a fund that was set up for area firefighters who are fighting cancer.
In order to raise money, the group is currently selling the newest version of their popular C.A.R.E. t-shirt, which may be purchased at the Union Hall (6014 Ayers Street) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Prices range from $12 to $15, depending on size and style. Caps and bracelets are also available, and may be viewed at HTTP://squareup.com/market/CARE936.
