The Administrator of USDA's Farm Service Agency Val Dolcini has an important message about the upcoming County Committee Elections.

If you're eligible to vote in these elections, look for you ballot in the mail, vote and then return your ballot to the local FSA office by Monday, Dec. 5, to ensure that your vote is counted.

FSA county committees are essential to the daily operation of nearly 2,200 FSA officers across the country. It's a valued partnership that helps us better understand the needs of the farmers and ranchers that we serve.

Approximately 1.5 million producers are currently eligible to vote. That includes anyone who participates in a local FSA program – meets certain other criteria. If you're eligible and haven't received your ballot by mail, please contact your local FSA office.

Learn more about County Committee Elections by visiting your local USDA Service Center or online at fsa.usda.gov/elections.

And remember, please return your ballot before the Dec. 5 deadline and don't forget to vote!
