ROBSTOWN - Nueces County and Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, the providers of Venue Management to the Richard M. Borchard (RMB) Regional Fairgrounds, will mark the 10th anniversary of the RMB Regional Fairgrounds on Friday, Jan. 13.

Over the past 10 years, the 45-acre complex has hosted 2,214 events, attracting 1,404,363 guests. The RMB Regional Fairgrounds includes various facilities to accommodate a consumer’s needs such as the Central Pavilion Arena, two Exhibit Halls, Conference Center, Equestrian Center, and the Middletown Meadow. The facility can be used for rodeos, livestock shows, boxing, wrestling, concerts, trade shows, consumer shows, corporate meetings, fundraising banquets, weddings, quinceañeras, parties, horse events, sporting events, and other special types of events.

The RMB Regional Fairgrounds is home to the Nueces County Junior Livestock Shows and Rodeo which will open on Friday, Jan. 13, with a Country Concert Bash featuring Wade Bowen, Roger Creager, Statesboro Revue, Curtis Grimes, Jake Ward, and Dave Rukkus. Proceeds will benefit students of the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show. Tickets are $25 and are available at the RMB Regional Fairgrounds location or through Tickets can also be purchased at Supercuts, Boots N' Britches Western Wear, and Lonestar Country Store locations.

“We are very excited about the 82nd year of the Nueces County Jr. Livestock Show and the 10th anniversary of the RMB Regional Fairgrounds. The Spectra staff has been great to work with all these years,” said Steve Williams, General Superintendent of the Nueces County Jr. Livestock Show.

The RMB Regional Fairgrounds’ 2017 schedule features the Coastal Bend Quilt and Needlework Guild, Boat & RV Expo, Clinton Anderson Horsemanship Clinic, The Peddler Show, SAXET Gun Show, TAMUK Rodeo, Gem and Mineral Show, Big Frank’s STX Hunting & Fishing Expo, HERPS Reptile Show, GoGames360, Corpus Christi Comic Con, Balloonapalooza Tour Festival, Heat Wave Car Show, Fitness Expo, Fun Cheer Cheerleading, Boxing/MMA, Taekwondo Tournament, Hispanic Heritage Festivals, Robstown Cottonfest, American Cancer Society Cattle Baron's Ball and Relay for Life and Buck Days Kick-Off weekend.
