Local Alice and Robstown native, Manuel Ruiz, to give book talk and hold book signing at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 18 at the Nueces County Keach Family Library.

Manuel Ruiz is a life-long Texan, born in the town of Alice and raised in nearby Robstown, the birthplace of Texas Hold ’Em, graduate from Robstown High School - Class of 1988. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Math/Computer Science from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Ruiz currently lives in Round Rock where he balances his time around his family, his IT job, his PlayStation and giving the characters in his head something interesting to do.
