The United States Navy Blue Angel pilots flew through the Corpus Christi sky on April 1 and 2 for the 2017 Wings Over South Texas Air Show as spectators from across South Texas gathered for the military performance.

The Blue Angels and other military performers include the U.S. Army’s Golden Knights, U. S. Air Force’s F-16 Falcon, U.S. Marine Corps’ MV-22 Osprey, the U.S. Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin and HC-144 Ocean Sentry conducting a Search and Rescue demonstration, and the U.S. Navy’s P-8 Poseidon.

Spectators enjoyed viewing and climbing a broad military planes and helicopters. Many of the attendees also experienced a virtual reality with in the Navy and Air Force simulators as a way for people to experience a small portion of what soldiers experience.

This year’s Wings Over South Texas air show honored the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway.
