GROW Local South Texas and The Corpus Christi Downtown Farmers' Market invites the entire community to the annual Halloween Harvest Market this Wednesday at the Art Center of Corpus Christi from 5 to 8 p.m. It’s going to be a spooky local food celebration for kids and families.

The first 100 children in attendance (ages 3-12) will receive $5 Veggie Vouchers to spend on fresh, local produce thanks to the generosity of NEC (Nueces Energy Co-op). Children may treat the vouchers as cash to purchase any fresh fruits or vegetables they care to.

Families will find trick-or-treating at vendor booths, costume contests for children and adults (with prize baskets), food trucks and live music!

Trick-or-treating will begin at 5 p.m. Costume contests will be held at 6 p.m.

Entertainment includes music by Jennifer Gayle Bradley. There are two food trucks including Jefe's Mobile Café and Huerta's Tamales. There is a cash bar provided by Corpus Christi Liquor Catering. Family Art Time at the Art Center of Corpus Christi and yoga with Youga Yoga at 6pm.

“The stars will align this Halloween for a packed Bayfront,” said GROW Local South Texas Executive Director Aislynn Campbell. “Our annual Harvest Market is one of the largest Farmers’ Markets of the year.”
